According to some estimation, Apple is expected to launch iPhone 12 and Apple Watch 6 simultaneously. But the date is not confirmed yet. However, some information about the Watch 6 has been made available on the internet.
According to DigiTimes, a Chinese outlet, the Apple Watch 6 will come with the Blood Oxygen Sensor, but again, the info is not verified. The sensor could help determine or indicate respiratory issues by checking the level of oxygen in the user’s blood. That means it would work like the Electrocardiogram and inform you about upcoming health issues without any doctor.
The watchOS 7 Beta has already shown such a sensor according to 9to5Mac, and Apple won’t announce this until the giant has the hardware to support, which brings in the Apple Watch 6 in the game.
Another source, MySmartPrice, South Korean Regulatory, is exporting some small-sized batteries, which could be a part of the Apple Watch 6. The batteries are in three different variants, 262.9mAh, the middle one has a capacity of 265.9mAh, and the last is 303.8mAh capacity. All three of them could line up with the various model of Apple’s hand wearable. The Apple Watch 5 models have a capacity of 296mAh, which might be a point of disappointment. However, in terms of optimization and efficiency improvement of the battery, Watch 6 should be the same as the Apple Watch 6, if not better.
Most probably, the news of Apple Watch 6 and iPhone 12 will be confirmed in the next few months, either in September ending or October start. However, even after the announcement, there might be a significant gap between Apple’s launch date and the actual sale.
